Resumes can be tricky. There are so many guidelines out there but in reality, the role you are applying for is how you need to format it. There are trendy ones with bright colors, there are very plain ones in simple chronological order, then you find IT ones that have words in it that are not applicable to any other resume on Earth, like "languages" but they do not mean French, English, Spanish - it means C++, SQL, etc...
